How the fees work
On the standard plan SumUp charges a flat 1.69% per in-person transaction with no monthly fee, no contract and no minimum. Online payments and payment links are 2.5%, and keyed-in phone orders are 2.95% + 25p.
Businesses processing more than roughly 2,000 to 3,000 pounds a month should look at SumUp One: 19 pounds a month drops the in-person rate to 0.99% and includes 50% off hardware, which quickly pays for itself at volume.
