myPOS Tap to Pay: UK 2026 Pricing & Fee Calculator
myPOS Glass turns a phone into a contactless terminal at the same low 1.10% + 7p rate myPOS charges on its readers for UK and EEA consumer cards. Commercial and non-EEA cards cost more.
What myPOS Tap to Pay charges
| Fee | Rate |
|---|---|
| UK and EEA consumer cards | 1.10% + 7p |
| Commercial, non-EEA and other cards | 2.85% + 7p |
| Hardware | None |
| Monthly fee | None on standard plan |
How the fees work
myPOS Glass is the tap-on-phone version of myPOS, charging the same in-person rates as its physical readers: 1.10% + 7p on UK and EEA consumer cards, rising to 2.85% + 7p on commercial, non-EEA and other-brand cards. The calculator here uses the consumer rate; if you take many business or international cards your effective rate will be higher. Funds settle into your myPOS account in seconds.
myPOS also offers a Glass plan with a monthly fee in exchange for an even lower processing rate, which can be worth it at higher volumes. There is no hardware to buy for the standard tap-on-phone option.
