How the fees work
SumUp Tap to Pay charges the same flat 1.69% as a SumUp reader, but runs on a compatible phone with no hardware to buy. There is no monthly fee on the standard plan.
If volume is high, the SumUp One subscription drops the rate to 0.99% for 19 pounds a month, which applies to Tap to Pay as well as physical readers.
