How the fees work
Unlike Shopify, BigCommerce never charges its own transaction fee, even if you use a third-party gateway, so your per-sale cost is whatever your chosen processor charges (it integrates with 65+ providers including PayPal and Braintree). The calculator includes the Standard plan (around 29 pounds a month) plus a typical processing rate; pick your own gateway for the exact percentage.
Higher tiers (Plus, Pro) cost more and unlock automatically as your annual sales grow, but they do not add a transaction fee. This suits growing and B2B stores that want predictable software costs and no per-sale platform cut.
