Splitit: UK 2026 Pricing & Fee Calculator

Splitit lets customers pay in instalments using the existing credit on their card, with no new application. Because there is no underwriting, merchant fees tend to be lower than other BNPL.

What Splitit charges

FeeRate
Who pays the fee The merchant (you), not the shopper
Merchant fee Typically lower than other BNPL (about 1.5% to 3%)
Shopper cost None (uses existing card limit)
You get paid Up front or as instalments clear, by plan

How the fees work

Splitit is different from typical BNPL: instead of issuing new credit, it places a hold on the customer's existing credit card and charges instalments to that card over time. There is no application or credit check for the shopper, and because Splitit is not underwriting new lending, merchant fees are generally lower than Klarna or Clearpay.

Exact pricing is agreed per merchant, so the 2.5% + 20p here is a representative estimate. It suits higher-value items where customers already have available card credit.
