What Laybuy charges
| Fee | Rate |
|---|---|
| Who pays the fee | The merchant (you), not the shopper |
| Merchant fee | Typically around 3.95% to 6% + fixed fee |
| Shopper cost | None (late fees may apply) |
| You get paid | Up front, in full |
How the fees work
Laybuy splits the order into six interest-free weekly payments while paying you the full amount immediately and carrying the credit risk. As with other BNPL providers, the retailer commission is negotiated rather than published, so the 4.5% + 20p shown here is a representative estimate.
Laybuy also offers a virtual card so customers can use it in store as well as online. Confirm current merchant pricing directly with Laybuy before pricing it into your margins.
